Everything is infinite and human is limited. The only way to understand things is simplified.Cutting many phenomena into a truth, peeping at a rumor, knowing that the whole picture is the most effective simplification.The simplification of seeking natural phenomena is the most important way for humans to try to understand, predict, and use natural phenomena, and it is also a simple and beautiful goal of science.It should be seen that “simplification” is a more vague word, and pursuing simplicity regardless of connotation will make people go astray.The biggest and most absurd simplicity is to attribute everything to God, as claimed by the Bible, that is much simpler than the Bible’s law, the basic principle of Maxwell equation, or the relatively simple and relative answer.But that’s not science, because the Bible just listed what it “explained”. What God created on the first day and what was created the next day.In addition to adding a God, this so -called “explanation” does not constitute simplification in any substantial sense.More importantly, this “simplicity” lacks a very basic expectation of science, that is, to be able to predict the unknown or future phenomenon.It is limited to the summary of known phenomena, which is closer to history rather than science.So what kind of understanding of natural phenomena can constitute a substantial simplification in a substantial sense and have the predictions that science must have?It is logical reasoning.The establishment of scientific theoretical framework on logical reasoning is an important source of its strength, and it is also an extremely essential characteristic of science that is different from religion.The interpretation of phenomenon in a scientific theory is connected by logical reasoning.Because the effectiveness of logical reasoning is the most basic fact in the universe in the universe, I believe that human beings have instinctively used the primary logic reasoning before realizing the concept of “logic”.Logical reasoning has great ductility and objectivity.Starting from the basic assumption of a scientific theory, the use of logical reasoning can derive almost infinite inferences, and these inferences exist in a very conclusive and independent way of personal will.Once a scientific theory is proposed, it exists in the academic world in a completely rigorous and humble way.Anyone has the right to test its basic assumptions and logic clearing inferences.If any such test is obtained, it means that the theory is overturned or its limitations are found.This characteristic of scientific theory has been enhanced by the scientific philosopher Popper to a core position.Popper has written many books, one of which is the basic point of view that the necessary condition that the theory becomes a scientific theory is that this theory is evidenced and pseudo -pseudo.In other words, if a theory must be a scientific theory, it must be clearly stated that it can be overturned in which situation.At the beginning of this, it seems very interesting, because people often consider from the perspective of proof rather than evidence when thinking about scientific theory.But it is not difficult to understand it, because the inference of a scientific theory is endless, and even more experiments can only strengthen its credibility and cannot prove its correctness.On the contrary, due to the clear logical reasoning of scientific theory, it is only necessary to overturn it.
